Yes
On one of my infrequent visits to London I was struck by Parliament stations 'Stalinist, semi finished' design along with some of the long tunnels to get to the platforms at some stations. Am I likely to be able to get photos, especially later at night when there's less commuters around or will TfL staff prevent me at the first sign of a camera?

I would suspect that given the present terrorist threat level trying to photograph the inside of a tube station without written TfL permission and the knowledge of whoever is in charge at the station would land you in hot water , probably looking at the business end of an assault rifle .

As has been said - and to reaffirm - hand held, no flash, not being an obstruction - you are very unlikely to be bothered. I've only ever been asked once, and at that time I was trying to get away with a tripod late at night, but I acted as though I didn't know there were rules and politely complied with the staff member's request to move on....
