Just looking to buy a long USB extension Lead for shooting tethered, there are tons of different ones about, anyone got any recommendations, have found the longusbcable.co.uk website which has one for 9.99 but just wondering if anyone has used one of these or has another make/model they are happy with

a cable is a cable :D
I've connected 3 extention cables together before and had no issues.

going for some gold-plated, ceramic cored, electrically shielded, diagonal cross modulated, flux-capacitated cable is probably overkill :D
 
You can get some little usb convertors on ebay that convert usb to cat 5. As long as both ends are powered your ok. I use a set on a 20m cat 5 cable with my 5d2 and my netbook. Only downside is they are usb1.0 but up until now it hasn't bothered me. :D
 
Thanks all, a 5m extender is pretty much perfect for me, I dont really need any longer than that, so thats probably the route I will go

I don't know if i'm barking up the wrong tree here. If I am then I apologise in advance, but I've recently set up my PC in the lounge and use the TV as a monitor. I use a wireless keyboard but I still use my mouse and I've got 4 extension cables strung together (over 8 mtrs) without any problem.
