Yes
well the 2nd hand 5d i bought from another forum arrived today.
i was a bit concerned buying 2nd hand body
seller said it was mint and only had about 1000 clicks on shutter mmmm
well after asking on here should i go for it. i did
wow its mint it looks brand new. no marks on it and everthing feels stiff like its new
it came with 2 batteries and the grip. no box but chager and lead, manual,
and a magic lantern guide to the 5d
all this for , wait for it £495,
yes £495
most 2nd hand 5ds are in the region of £600 to £800
i also bought a mint 17-40 off jno to go with it
so in all it cost £895 body and lens
one thing i noticed (or didnt notice actualy) was how big and bright the viewfinder was. after about 30 mis of playing i remembered how people comment on the big bright viewfinder. mmm it didnt jump out at me. but will need to get out and do some serious playing to test it
iso seems well controlled up to 1250 seems to hold well
how is iso 50, as its non native is it ok to use all the time for landscapes
was going to post a pic but looks like you can only link on this site. is this right

You can post pics - just grab the URL you uploaded it to, then:

[*IMG]<your URL here>[/IMG*]
(without the *'s)

Make sure the images don't exceed 800px on the long side, so as to keep the modly ones happy

ive not really got an online site.
well i did register with quite a few but never got them up and running.
ill have to see if i can remember which one i registered with or get a new one

You can upload images to your own gallery here on this forum and then link directly to that, the URL will appear below the photo as soon as you have uploaded it successfully.

great thanks for the info

That does look very sweet. Mine looks like I tow it behind the car but still works faultlesly. It really is a tough little camera.

I definatley need to buy a couple more before they become too hard to get. Full frame for canon without stupidly large files is a thing of the past.

.
it puts my 30d to shame, thats full of war wounds. and my 10-22 is held togeather with making tape after my tripod blew over in wales a couple of yrs ago, still works, just never got around to getting it fixed,
how is the 5d at iso 50
with it not being a natural iso i was wondering how it performs. or is it better to leave it at 100 for landscape
