Looking for a New Lens

I used to shoot d7k on a 35mm 1.8g lens! Studio portraits! It's Chrisp as anything! View attachment 35151

Ignore the time of year! This is my boy! We used shot on our Christmas cards last year.
 
Quick update, a good friend of mine has just bought me the 35mm as a thank you present..:banana: Lens is now sorted, time to get the modifiers, learning and shooting!!

35mm is a good lens, but if you do get a chance try out the Tamron 17-50 non vc. Try it out.

I have the 35mm also had the 50mm 1.8d but since I got the Tamron the 50 was sold and the 35mm does not get used.

Well as I now don't have to buy the 35mm, will use that money and upgrade the kit lens. Just not sure if I should get the 28-75mm for the extra length or stick to the 17-50.

I asked him for his opinion, he sent me an email advising th e best one is on it's way.

If you are planning on going full frame get the 28-75 otherwise I would suggest the 17-50.

Not for a long while, so will look out for the 17-50.
