Love-in-the-mist.

'Howard Florey' - A rose bred in South Australia for Australian conditions. It stands up to our hot summers well. Named after an eminent South Australian scientist.

Both nice pics but I'm liking the first the most. Simple colours and the sharp leaves and petals are a nice contrast to the soft background. Good dof. There could maybe be a tiny bit more space above the point of the top leaf as it looks like it's just about to disappear out of shot.

The rose is nice and again, good dof. The white patch to the left is maybe a bit distracting.

Yes - I am learning that I tend to crop pretty sharply, so must watch that!
And I could try cloning out that spot in #2 - I am a bit of a lazy photographer!!
