Lowepro pouch problem with 200 f2, any suggestions?

Hi guys,

I have a bit of a protection problem for some of my kit and was wondering if anyone else has the same combination, and how they have got round it.

I have a long lens with a body on it in a Lowepro 600AW, but want to attached a pouch to the side of it to hold a 200 f2 with a body on it.

I can see loads of smaller “toploader” type pouches that would suit a body with a 70-200, but can’t find anything that doesn’t taper at the bottom. The 200 f2 is quite fat and won’t go all the way down.

I have a pouch that the lens fits in, but not with the body attached, which is adding a huge amount of ware and tare to the kit every time I move position.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Gary

no idea, but if you email lowepro they might say as you are looking for something kinda specific, espesh if you included measurements ;)

I'll happily take your 200 f2 off your hands if you like!

Might be worth looking at ThinkTank stuff if you haven't already.

Wear and tear (sic) looks good on camera kit - makes you look like a pro...lol

That's the problem!!!

The thinktanks (and all of the other toploader type bags) look far too tight at the bottom end, the 200 f2 is 5 inches wide at the business end (without the hood), the hood is about 7 inches in diameter. Not having the hood isn't a major problem, but don't think the thinktanks are wide enough at the bottom.
