My lowepro shoulder back creaks when I'm walking,its incredibly offputting

Anyone had similar issues? Any ideas how to fix?

Presume it's the fasteners that are creaking - try spraying a little polish on a cloth and wiping them over with it and the inside of the D ring - might help...
 
lol, I was seriously considering wd40, but I think i'll try the polish and see. perhaps some silicone grease may help

Polish smells nicer :D

If you've some silicone spray that may also do the job - I'd be a little cautious if using and 'grease' as the last thing you want is ant transfer to your bag / cloths or gear ...

It was driving me nuts!
Tried sanding, polishing, heating with polishing, greasing with whatever, in other words: everything. :lol:


Take a razorblade, cut the stitching holding the snaplocks and then sew strap directly to the sides of the bag.

Only cure found this far. Didn't ever unhook the strap anyway.
 
sewing? what is this concept ;-)

cheers for the advice, seems that may be the only option! what a pants design, is this something common to all lowepro shoulder bags or does it come to certain ones with age??
 
I took photos of the "project" and sent them with a letter to Lowepro. Poor design indeed...

You can of course replace the plastic snaplocks with metal ones... sewing still needed though! :D
