Loxley - I'm about to give up on them!!! JNLP what?

Thought I'd get some printing done via Loxley. Been to their site. Tried to install their app. But the web site presents me with a JNLP file.

Now I've done a tad of Googling, but I'm bu****ed if I know how to start off the install. I'm sure I'm being super thick!!!

Help please?

Once loaded its not to bad really. But the prints are super imho..

I use designer pro as I dont do print ordering from Loxley, I use my local photo lab.
But I use the LDP for album design/ editing

I hope it's good!!! I've now installed Java 6, installed Roes. Now starting at screen!!! I'm going to have to press the HELP button.
 
Ha ha I know that feeling ..

Once you have found your folder " this will then open up on the right side of the screen"
Click on print size then find the size you want.

Now click and drag the image you want onto the template on the left of the screen...


Then click add

Hope this is some help...

Thanks bud - that did help!

I'm getting to grips with it. What's it like with volume prints - are there some shortcuts?

Yes but i need to look at the help funtion myself again... LOl


I only every order 20 or so at a time whatever the customer orders..


I do know you can do multiply orders though...

Once you get to grips with the software you'll never want to use an online upload service again. :p
 
I think I am a step closer to giving up!

Having installed the software, created my order, the software is now asking for my Loxley account no! None of the Loxley emails provide this information.

Having heard so many good things about Loxley, I'm frustrated :(
 
Don't give up!

Once you are up and running they are fabulous. All my marketing stuff is printed by Loxley and once uploaded they keep it all in my library. I can order new stuff from almost anywhere just by loggin in and choosing how many I want of what :)

I have an apertura album to do next week and about 100 keepsake accordions!

Have you had a email off them..

If you can wait till the morning andf phone them they will sort you out . They are very helpfull on the phone...

Only problem is they dont work the weekends. So problems like yours can put people off..

Have emailed them thanks.

I'm just frustrated. :( Can't understand why having logged in, the software then asks for account no, email etc. Seems strange.

Fingers crossed, the prints will make up for it. :)
