Loxley Roes installation issue...

Right the other day I downloaded Loxley Roes software(for prints etc. not the photobooks and other product software) went to go use it again the next day and it's not on my system anymore. So download it again and then when I open it I go to 'keep it in dock' on my mac so that I don't lose it again. Did this, close the program and then the icon in the dock just changed to 'java' and anytime I tried to re-oen loxley terminal popped up but nothing happened.

Surely everytime I want to use Roes I don't have to re-download it(takes like 2hours for it to load the catalog etc. everytime!!!) Surely? If so - Loxley have just lost a customer in me :nono:

you shouldn't have to download it every time. Give them a ring, they're normally very helpful

It won't keep in the dock, you have to have it on your desktop.
Should work fine from there.

Thing is the file doesn't ever touch my desktop? it goes into a download folder, somewhere random - and then once the program opens the file disappear, not under anything 'roes' or what the download java file is called, so I can't even search my system to find it....Will have another trawl...
The download file is called 'launch' something or other?

you may need to drag the download to the apllications folder to install?

Leanne, drop me a PM with your email addy. I had similar issues last year and Loxley send me a link to a high ram version which works, and you can keep it in your dock. Don't have access to it at work but will email it to you this evening.
