Lytham Windmill 'C&C please'

I was leaving Warton and noticed the Windmill 'lit up' against the dark menacing sky.. So out with the 17-70 with the Polariser on...
My 1st attempt at a landscape so C&C most welcome..

Personally i'd crop some of the green off and turn it into a black and white , the white windmill would go really well with the moody sky

(from my very inexperienced viewpoint) I like the way the windmill stands out against the otherwise drab background - maybe playing about with cropping could tighten the composition - lose some of the acres of grass and sky?

Nice shot Lev I had a go at the windmill the other month Clicky Linky Just didnt a have such a fab sky

Nice pic.
Crop works better, but prefer the colour left in.
The pic IMO, would have had a lot more impact if you'd shot closer to the mill and from low angle.

Yeah, i thought that in portrait format.

It looks quite good lit up at night too...

I would crop some more foreground, and keep it colour. Nit picking though, I do like it.
