Ever since spilling some OJ on my old mac keyboard I have been searching for a replacement..

It was just the old style wired one.. and I needed a new one asap so popped to Maplins and got a Trust USB Wireless one for £20.. does the job, but its Windows based so all the keys are wrong. And none of the function buttons work.

Recently got a Logitech S530 off ebay, but it was not as described, and after a refund from paypal I cant use it, its too big as it has the rest built in.

Not fussed if its wired or wireless. I would like a wireless mouse though that has the buttons on the side which is mac compatible. I think that a Mighty Mouse will fit the bill, but they are so expensive.

I know a lot of you have Macs on here, so what do you use?

I use the latest version Apple wired keyboards and Logitech 'Click' cordless optical mice.

I use a wired Apple keyboard [I like having a dedicated number pad] and a wireless mighty mouse. I like them both, the mouse gets a bad rep for some reason [I know the grumbles about not being able to clean the trackball], but I find it to be ergonomically very good.

I've got a some Pro keyboards and a Mice, what model mac have you got?

Another vote for the bog standard Apple keyboard, at £28 its a bit of a bargain too. I prefer the one with the separate number keys.

Mousewise, I actually like the Wireless Mighty Mouse, it just needs cleaned and new batteries a few times a year.

I bought a brand new apple keyboard for £22 posted.

took a search on ebay, found it listed 2 minutes previous and paid.

Just the mouse now.. looking at the MX 1100, if I can sell a few car parts to make up the £30 for it though

Woop, just thought i would update this thread, got a new apple aluminium keyboard, and god you can feel the quality difference.

tempted to get the matching mighty mouse, forgot how good apple stuff actually was.

taking me a while to get used to typing on it after a keyboard which you had to hammer the keys but its nearly silent to type on, its awesome.

just to find a new mouse :)

I spilled a FULL mug of coffee (with hazelnut syrup) into my 3 days old Mac keyboard....wacked it into the bath

Then left it in the airing cupboard for a week, and I am typing on it now :D ALL the buttons work, including the CAPS LOCK key with the green light.

p.s. don't bother with the mighty mouse, i spilled coffee on that too....its dried but i think its still sticky inside even after a bath.

Apple keyboard (the wireless one) and a standard microsoft intellimouse. Good combo, if you ask me.

I use a Wireless Mighty Mouse and really like it, don't see why people have a problem with it. Also use a new style Apple keyboard with numeric keypad and find it very comfortable, beats using the macbook pro keyboard for long periods of time.

Hi,

I use the Standard wired Mighty Mouse and a New Alu Mac keyboard with the numerical keys on the right and I love it!! I used to have the old white Mac keyboard that came with my iMac which I also found clunky and noisy to type on...until now that is ;-)

Mike.
