Hi guys!
Fellow Mac users- question for ya! :)
I've got the latest version of MSN messenger on my macbook pro (which is only 3months old, but I did re-install the latest version- 7), and unlike windows, there is no option to have a video chat/call, the option just doesnt exist....
Do I need to install an additional client or something, or am I just missing something entirely?!
Really want to put my built in webcam to good use!

Any advise is appreciated!

thanks. does anybody know how to use the MAC program JABBER? Or should I start a new thread entirely for that?!
Ive read up on it, but am so confused on the text I've read! It would appear as though its the standard messenger for mac....

if you want video chat just install skype that works fine on the video side of things.

Jabber is a chat protocol, you can use your gmail account to chat on jabber in adium or jabber client PSI

yea I know skype is okay, but my contacts use msn only lol! how does one actually USE jabber via their gmail account? doesnt seem to want to connect on mine! :(!!

add a new account in your client - adium for example - under jabber

enter your gmail details

voilà

wohoo jabber is working! lol, now just have to get aMSN!

This blog post looks pretty promising. Although I've moved over to Skype now. I wish more people used AIM so I could use iChat, it looks like a great application, but doesn't really have much point over here.

so what people can use iChat? - gmail, aim, ....?!
