As per title really. I've just put Gimp on my new Macbook (not pro) and the side windows are too large. The bottom part of each window is off the bottom of the screen and the resize button is on the bottom of the window which I can't reach in order to resize :cuckoo:

Anyone else had this sort of problem and managed to resolve it? The display is on its highest resolution. Think I may be missing something really daft

Ps, not had this problem on either of my PC's monitors.

GIMP is pretty much the same on my Macbook, the problem is that it isn't a native OSX application.

It's a known problem in the GTK implementation, not sure if there's a fix/workaround.

TBH you'd be better off looking on GIMP forums than on here (since most people use PS).

Ah yeah, it's because Apple have changed their version of X11.

What flavour of OSX are you on?

I have OSX 10.5.6 running.

Thanks for the responses, kinda thought that was the case and just wanted to check that others had this problem. I can work round it, its just a bit of a pain. But hey, its free, so can't complain too much ;)

If it annoys me enough I'll use my PC instead.
