Wild Madagascar Tree Boa

Apologies to those with ophidiophobia. I'm fascinated by herptiles and I have only photographed a handful of snake species in Madagascar over the last few years. On this particular visit, we came across this beautiful Madagascar Tree Boa. This sub-adult was resting peacefully by the side of a mud track that we were travelling on. What a beauty it was. So glad that it was spotted by one of my guests on the trip as we were driving past.
