Critique Madrid: Puerta de Alcalá morning blue lightrails

Too much dead space at the bottom of those young man. Just my opinion of course!

I get where you are coming from. I can shift the crops around, I did then found there was too much dead space above.

The joy of having a prime lens, and a wheelie bin for a tripod and ensuring it's level on both axis.

I'll be back with tripod and tilt and shift ;)
 
I think the Puerta de Alcalá is pretty much spot on mate but like everyone else theres too much orange space at the front. Not sure why you havent cropped differently.

Agree as above and I'd say that the top looks a little tights so room for manouvre!

Both lovely shots Steve.
If there's got to be dead space for the square crop, I think I'd prefer to see more sky, less ground.
That way the building sits further down the frame, which for me at least, sits better.
Colours are lovely :)

Great colours and exposure, but I would agree it needs some foreground or a crop :)
