Right, don't know if this is going to work, but it was an idea I had this morning as something that could be kind of cool if it does.

Essentially, post up here something you have always wanted to do photography wise (within reason of course) and let's see if the wider TP community can help make that wish come true.

As an example, I'd always wanted to shoot hot air balloons close up and, through a random conversation a while ago, I was put in contact with someone who had their own balloon and wanted some photographs. Net result, I got to shoot up close and personal and ticked one off the list.

Obviously, listing that you want to take a shot of the inside of a Red Arrow jet mid-display isn't going to get very far, so try and keep them as realistic as possible.

Fingers crossed we can grant each other some wishes between us :thumbs:

The 'Wish List' so far:

shabba - Would like to second on an 'Evo' magazine car shoot
Adey - Would like to shadow a wedding photographer for the day
daugirdas - Would like to go on an aerial shoot
Scarecrow - Would like to shoot Jo Guest (not literally)
Harvey_nikon - Would like to travel for a charity covering their work
ukglyn - Would like to accompany at a sporting event
mike_6480 - Would like to shoot a football match or athletics meet
Digikat - Would like someone to help her better utilise her lighting kit
Xarra - Would like to second for someone at a wedding
Gigabyte - Would like to shoot low flying military jets

If you can make any of these happen, PM me and we'll start the ball rolling

I want to go on an EVO magazine car shoot.

I think there is a guy who does it on here! I would do pretty much ANYTHING for that.
 
Thanks shabba, exactly the sort of thing I was thinking when I had the idea.

I'll keep the opening post updated to save those who don't want to having to wade through pages of 'wishes'.
 
For me at the minute I would love to get an assistants job, just something part time to earn a bit of cash and then have to quit the college course which I think is a stupid course but it's all I can get at the moment :)

This isn't really about finding a job Luke, more something you've wanted to shoot for a while but haven't been able to find a way to do it. You never know though, someone out there may need an assistant :thumbs:

Well I have taken enough shots of the Moon from Earth, how about :thinking:
 
I know that she has given up modelling now, and I know that she has been suffering from ill health, but I'd still like to do a photoshoot with Jo Guest.
 
For me, travelling around doing war zone and charity photography.

I'd really like to travel Africa etc, taking photos for charities hoping that my photo can portray something that would make someone donate :) Just to make a difference!
 
We're getting a little out of the realms of reasonable possibility here folks!

Remember, this is supposed to be things that are within the reach of the wider TP community to be able to help out with, so foreign travel and celebrity models makes it a little more unlikely that this will work.
 
I would like to go with an official tog to a sporting event & get into the press pit to capture some shots, as apose to my usual weddings & portraits.

Thanks Glyn, this is the sort of thing that we have members here who should be able to assist somehow.

Glyn, unfortunately I'm going to have to steal your answer and pic a sporting event (probably football or athletics)

I would like a "fairy togmother" to work with me on lighting setups, I have flash guns, stands, softbox, brolly etc but need some practice and someone with experience to help me work it all out.

I would love to shoot low flying Airforce jets. That would be really cool
