Mamiya 645 Pro Light leaks

Purchased a complete Mamiya 645 Pro , 80mm 2.8 C, 120 back , power winder and AE prism last week. The description was sparse but I took a gamble. The seller failed to mention the dinged lens thread, coating issues from previous fungus and the blades swimming in oil. It was a good price though so I perservered

Thanks to youtube I managed to clean the lens up after infinity focus needing checking a few times ( damn you helicoids! Damn me for not marking the positions).

Just had my test roll back from snappy snaps. Sharpess and focus is bang on. Exposure looks fine, I took photos at 2.8 and 22 do check equal exposure and the shutter was firing correctly. The only issue is light leaks, as this is only affecting some of the photos my first guess is some piping issues with the roll not being tight enough based on the pattern and shape of the leak. Anyone seen this type of leak before, cheers!

A pure guess as not seen those before and they are appearing in the middle of the frame.

Some kind of reflection, shutter blades bouncing light back towards the lens (they seem to be semi circular) or through the waist level finder somehow

That leak looks really weird. Sounds like a typical Ebay type purchase though. Sellers are often less than truthful with condition

Do you have a small portable LED light that you could put inside the back and put it back on the camera to see if in the dark you can see light getting out?

Does the position of the leak correspond with the area of damage on the lens thread at all?

I just put and black and white roll through and its also got the same pattern , albeit not as many, its gonna have to go back. Could spend more money and time than its worth
