I did actually shoot some with my Sigma 70-300 but haven't got around to processing them yet.
Be as brutal as you like, but as kind as you want to be :D

Kind Regards

1, 2 6 and 7 all good for me Bod. Not that the others are bad.;)

Have you done No2 before? :ponders:

1st Shot:

Composition on this one is great, the frosty feel that you captured really adds to the picture as well. Only thing is, I can’t help but want to know what that shot would have looked like with a larger aperture as even now you can see how the depth of field adds to the shot, maybe with a bit shallower depth it would have helped to bring out that leaf even more, give it that extra pop.

3rd Shot:

I really like this one, I attempted to get that shot myself but failed quite miserably to be honest, seems that you managed to capture it nicely. Not got any bad points to add to this photo, very nice.

4th Shot:

Reflections don’t always work in shots like these, but you got it in this one I think. Nice and sharp as well, and you got a bit of the sky in there which gives it that extra atmosphere and colour.

6th Shot:

My favourite of the bunch, well worth you getting yourself wet to get it hey. Like you said, that foreground really does add to the shot, much better than my attempt at that shot.

:)

Thanks chaps :)

CT, Number 2 I haven't done before, but IIRC Steve has done a very similar shot at Salford Quays, just outside the lowry, back in July.

The more I look at the slanty GMEX one, the more I like it. TBH though it's the one that's had the most post processing (apart from the skewing and lens correction filters used in Number 6 above).
At first I wasn't sure, but with the post processing it's come up much better than it did out of the camera.

really like the first, only thing I find a tiny bit distracting is the second bench, tried cropping it out?

not bad Marcel, don tlike the security shed, though its amusing!

the last one i feel might be a really good one to have a nice long exposrue on, get the clouds and the water looking blurry, might work well

overall nice though, i really MUST get out more...

Some great shots there Marcel, your really getting to grips withthis stuff :)

Not really a fan of the security/buildnig site one, but i'd be chuffed to have any of the others under my belt.

no 1 is my fave, i'd have hoped for a slightly shallower DoF as stated earlier up the thread, just so that the second bench was a blur.
