I bought the above adapter as I needed a fitting with a 1/4" male thread on it. This has a brass spigot which is removable and slides into a hole on the top of the unit and held in place by a side screw.
However, the spigot is a "universal" one and is rounded with a hole going through it half way. The hole isn't positioned so as to accept the holding side screw which has to fit onto the side.
Seems a bit of a rough and ready way to do it. Anyone have any idea where I can buy a brass spigot with a 1/4" male thread which has a flat side so that it is held a bit more securely?
