Can anybody tell me if the Rubber foot on this Monopod is held on by Tension or Glue please.

I assume it will be the same as the 679. The rubber foot on mine could be pulled off - no glue.

Just checked mine for you. Just a very tight fit, no screw thread or glue.

This is for all you Modifiers out there.

Project was to convert 680B into a Travel Tripod.

1. Fully Lowered.

2. Fully Extended.

Sorry about Images kinda hard to shoot a Skinny thing, but gives you an Idea.

Details.

Bottom Part is a Slik Mini Pro III.

Ball Head is a Manfrotto 494.

Camera is a Fuji X100 Limited Black Edition,With the Wide Angle Adaptor Lens, and a Nikon Cable Release.

Result.

Surprisingly Stable and a Robust platform.

Looking forward to taking it all abroad with me as everything is Lightweight and Easy to pack away

Hello my Friendly,

If Only!!

Have to be Honest and say it was Somebody else's I found on the Internet.

He used a Manfrotto 679 and Slik Mini Pro (V) a variant that has the small Video pan handle.
For all Intents and Purposes the same as mine really.

I already had the Slik Mini Pro III Ball head type (Excellent table top) , so all I had to buy was the Monopod and Head.

Only limitation for Somebody using other Kit is the Bottom leg section has to be 3/4 inch/20mm wide.
