Whats the difference between the:

055CXPRO3

and the

055CXV3

Are they the same?! Web images from the retailer website for the 055CXV3 certainly look different to the the PRO3 and CX3 on Manfrottos website. If they are indeed different can anybody shed some light as to what the differences are? The reason why i ask is that the 055CXV3 is on sale at £90 less than usual; presumably an older model? :S

Can any1 help?!
 
Hi,

The 055CXPRO3 is 100g lighter, it has the fancy mounting that allows the centre column to be rotated into the horizontal. This means that the 055CXPRO3 has a minimum height of just 115mm compared to a minimum height of 615mm on the 055CXV3.

thanks, in your opinion would you pay another ~£40 for the PRO3 over the CXV3?
 
the letters at the end of 055CX pro3 and v3 is the difference :|
