Anyone had any experience of either purchasing and fitting a split prism to an EOS, or is there even anywhere that would fit it as well??? This is with my long term view to some good 'ol glass. Having an EOS 450D I know I'd lose my AF points in the viewfinder, although they'd still do what they're meant to. Any help greatly appreciated folks

I use a split prism in a 40D....also used one in my old 30D...one of these

AF points still operate but you need to adjust the exposure if using spot metering. Installing the thing is quick and simple.
