this image may not be to everyones taste, however it is nature and it goes on each and everyday somewhere. This is a female Goshawk on a rabbit it has just caught. The effect i put around the image unfortunatly doesnt look so good in low res format, but never mind its fine on the main image

Presume the Gos is a falconers bird? I dont think its in bad taste at all - but the border is and spoils it for me - but each to their own! ;)
 
Love the image but I agree with above don't like the border.

I have been trying to get photos of a pair for months. I hear them but not seen them properly yet. One day I'll get them:)
 
Nature is stunningly wonderful yet alarmingly cruel at the same time. Sometimes we choose to ignore the one side and thats our prerogative.
You have a good image here of nature in the raw and well done for the capture. However, I dont like the exaggerated vignetting or framing you have used but thats personal taste. Personally with a picture like this I would prefer to see the natural environment shown in its full and not hidden.
A good capture though (y)
