I've got a sony a100 and i've been looking at getting a macro lens for it. I have afew old minolta MD lens lying around and i have just noticed ebay do adapters, to be able to use a MD lens on the sony alpha's. I have a MD 50mm 1.4 (f/1.4-16. Focus from 0.45m) a 'Sunagor' 135mm f/2.8 macro automatic lens and a vivitar 2x teleconverter, all in 'MD'. I know using these means using manual focus, but would it be worth paying the £20-£30 for an adapter to be able to use them on my sony???? Also what would the picture quality be like?
