I'm looking at buying one of these Meike grips because the official Canon one is a ridiculous price.
My only concern with the knock-off one however is the tripod mound and whether it is sturdy or not. It's particularly of concern to me because I use a Black Rapid strap with the Manfrotto tripod mount constantly attached to the camera and I'm worried it might not be strong enough to be dangling from my strap all of the time.
Does anyone here use a Meike grip with a Black Rapid style strap or has anyone heard of any weakness problems with the tripod mount?
