I bought a Trancend 32gb 600x card with my christmas money along with a canon 7d

although this problem has just appeared I would like to make sure its either the card or the card reader that is the problem.

Here is what is keep happening every so often when I copy pictures to my computer, the same ones look fine in the camera and if i copy them over again which means i think that it is the reader, right? but I coud be wrong :/

here is some examples of what is happening, these were all shot in raw but not processed at all.

can you load the pics direct from the card to the pc but leaving the card in the camera.

That what I do, I never take the memory card out of the camera unless changing it for a new one.

If the pics transfer from camera to pc ok all the time then I would say its the reader thats the problem.

I'll give that a go

It might be reader vs card clash. There are numerous complains on the internet forums about Transcend cards. I always preferred Sandisk brand and never had any issues. These are recommended by Camera manufacturers after all. Lexar should be fine as well. Given by the price difference I think the other brands are not worth of money.

I doubt i'd be able to get my money back now although I could get a replacement i doubt i'd get a refund

hmm, my card reader is a trancend usb 3.0, maybe its because i was using it in my mac which only has usb 2.0?
