The GSW was very obliging - posing nicely.

This is one of Jan's. We had high hopes for this shot - the only decent shot we caught of the Wren. It looked great on the preview screen, but it just wasn't sharp enough when we got it on the computer. 1/60th second and 600mm is pushing it a bit though, especially with a Wren!

Still -the uncropped shot is just about acceptable at this size and I hadn't got the heart to bin it if only for the unusual setting.

Beautiful shot of the GSW and I would have been very pleased with the picture of the wren as they can be so difficult to line the camera up on before they move let alone get the shot.

That woody is wonderfully sharp, with a nice perch and soft background---a cracker.
