Anybody any ideas? When I use my MBP the trackpad stops working after a whille. It won’t allow me a single click but acts like I’m continuously holding a double click. Any ideas how to fix?

Could be software or hardware.
Hardware would be most likely a bulging battery/
Software - start with a PRAM reset.

After that I'd try deleting the Trackpad plist
