Milky Way from an aircraft

Hi Folks. I've not been on here for a while, been distracted by doing some writing for a change, and didn't do a lot of photography in the last few years. However, I've been doing some more experimentation with shooting the Milky Way from an aircraft, and thought I would share a couple of recent ones. Both are shot using a Ricoh GRIII. A staellite trail can be seen in the first one.

Taken from a B757. It takes quite a few attempts to get the shots, they are from 8-13 secs, so any turbulence during the exposure ruins the shot.

That's impressive. I used to struggle enough to get daytime shots from an aircraft (it was ever so slightly smaller than at 757....). Do you have the camera on any sort of mount or is it just handheld propped against the coaming?
