Had a family holiday in Gran Canaria last week and snuck off one night into the mountains to capture the milky way and hopefully some Perseids meteors from above the light pollution. Terrifying driving up the winding paths (though in some ways nice *not* being able to see over the edge!) but overcoming he fear was worth it. This was in the mountains overlooking the valley containing Morgán to the West of the Island looking East. After several hours shooting the stars, finally captured a good meteor in a useful spot:
