Miranda 700cd "Multi-dedicated" flash

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of using this flash. I've been given it by someone who was going to through it out. It's all in working order and has a little box with three coloured plastic filters and a wide angle insert. I can't seem to find anything that says what it will work with.

It should work with pretty much all 1960's 70's or 80's cameras, the Miranda was a pretty much low end make. IIRC supplied by the likes of Dixons/Currys fairly bog standard flash for the folk that couldn't afford camera specific flashes or well known makes like Sunpak etc.

Just don't be tempted to try it on your latest DSLR.

Thanks for the info Nick. I was just wanting to check before offering it to a good home basically.

I'll put up a post offering it to anyone for postage :)
