Taken yesterday and thought it was a good mix of estuary and industry.

I like the idea of this shot, it just lacks a little something.

I did a B&W conversion of the jpg and it turned out well.
 
Thanks for that, I will give that a try myself.
 
I think what it lacks could be solved by by revisiting around 4.30am or around sunset. I would then loose the "lump" on the left of the frame, and perhaps use that old and rotten boat as a lead line to the power station. Might be the wrong angle is the only thing.

Hi this is a completly n00b question so bear with me here. The strands of grass in the foreground could have been lost if you took a few steps forward. So was it intentional to leave this in for the effect? Just out of interest as I have no idea on tecniques etc. They say ask a question and you are a fool for five minutes, don't ask and you are a fool for life :)
