lovely subject in excellent nick. But I think the backdrop in pic one takes the eye away from the subject. in fact think it would make a good subject itself.

Ooooh, that looks nice

I like the reflection in number three, but I'd say that over all the second one is my favourite :D

Criticisms? The processing has left you with it looking like pictures of three different cars and I find the shadows in the first pic a bit distracting, but other than that.....(y)

Really enjoyed looking at these. The first one is perhaps a bit too busy but then again so is the car! 2nd shot is my fav. The third one makes it look like a little toy car but its nice and sharp and the reflection is nice.

Fantastic car

Shame about the harsh reflections in the first.
Love hte second one the sk is fantastic!
The third, however, is in a world of its own!

great pics ........ lots of memories there for me ... loved my Escort Mk1's

Mine were almost identical except mine were mostly daytona yellew ... but same bonnet pins - Cibie's - flared arches - wheel spacers ....... lol :)

Oh that is GORGEOUS...

...sorry, nice photos too...

Yeah I've already photographed the grafitti down there previously, just thought I would see if it would work with all the colours together.

Thanks Flash. 3 different cars  Realised after processing this one I have a few shots from there and picked the only one with the shadows on it.

Love the second one the sky is fantastic!

Thanks for that Matt. I have heavily processed the sky in 2 (rather badly imo) :bang:

Volusian, think that was why I jumped at the chance to shoot it, memories.

Love the last shot!

Cheers Remedi

Thanks Arkady, even if it was an afterthought. ;);)

Have to agree with ziploc the background in pic 1 would make a great subject on its own, fantastic shots and a awesome car

That is AMAZING! and the pictures aren't to shabby either :p

Excellent subject and well capture - with nice ideas to shoot it rather then the normal Front/back side and with the lights on!

I have shot a 1970 Mexico with exactly the same colouring, but that one's mirrors were round. I just love that colour.

Cheers, may head back down there and shoot just the walls sometime.

Last one for me .Love the reflection...(y)

Don't worry I did those too. But I like to produce a whole picture of interest.

Had a look at your flickr and website, could only find one picture. But agree lovely cars.

#1 theres to much going on with the background

#2 I like a lot

#3 is the standout shot for me

only problem i can see is the car looks a different colour in each shot

Nice set ok and what a car (y)

I used to have one ;)

#1 i feel the background is a bit busy

#3 does it for me

TT

#1 - Lovelly shot, but I agree about the shadows.

#2 - I really like the colours in this, angle is great.

#3 - Brilliant Shot, Much PP done?

Overall a really good set mate.

Well, perhaps just two :naughty:

The white balance is well out on the first one, it should be more like

unless it was an effect you were going for, in which case I'll shut up

what a lovely car !!! (where can I get one ? ;) )

2 and 3 are my fav :)

prefer that one ^

#2 think would be better if the bridge line was horizontal (also can see your AA selection for the sky line on the edge of it)

#3 bit too far slanted, not that keen tbh - great location, would suit a low 3/4 nice half and half with reflection

Fantastic shot I really like the second one(y) I have seen this car in the flesh lot of times and I think you have really done it justice.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. (y)
Going from a few comments then I think the colours need looking at put that is probably more PP than actual shooting.

Thanks, strange how many people have commented on the busy background in #1 and that is the one the customer has fell in love with.

I've ironed the shadows out slightly for the print.

Cheers flash, I have altered the level of blue in the final version, prints will be here tomorrow so keeping fingers crossed.

There are quite a few still around, if you've got silly money to spend on one.

I noticed the PP on number 2 was dodgy along the bridge line, but it has been done properly on the final edit. The problem with #3 is the puddle it was sat in wasn't very wide and came right from the wall so limited to what angle i could get to without getting my feet wet.

Fantastic shot I really like the second one(y) I have seen this car in the flesh lot of times and I think you have really done it justice.

Yeah, credit to him as it is a very nice car. You'll recognise the locations as well then?

Yeah I recognise them, I think Dunstall Lane would have also been a good location.

Cool vehicles and awesome graffiti, I love shots like that :D

I want to find some near me and take my motorbike there for some shots.

(y)

The original No1 does lack a bit of punch on the car though.

Cheers BOM, the edit for the print of number 1 does look better than the one posted here.

Strangely enough, alot have commented on how the background on 1 detracts from the car, it just happens to be the clients favourite of the shoot. Although he has bought a selection of prints due to not being able to decide which others he wanted.
