Mono landscape

Hi All

This images was taken during a walk along Claybank North Yorkshire, I feel that it work really well converted to mono.

I'm new here so be kind

No 1 is my favourite but they are both very good. Think your idea to convert them to mono works Find myself tempted to ask what the originals look like.

I like them, the foreground composition is very good .

Not sure how familiar you are with photoshop techniques but I would be tempted to do a little dodge and burn, which basically means selectively lightening areas that are too dark and darkening areas that are too light.

I particularly like #1. Nice range of tones and the sky is good.

In #2, the foreground is a bit too close to me for comfort, and the clouds make the sky look as though it is divided into two horizontally.

The sky in the second one is confusing me a bit but i find the 1st one superb.
