Mono Tree..again

I seem to do a lot of mono trees so here is another... It's not really what I was going for but I haven't posted any photos in a while so here it is.

I think I'm in practical photography next week so that'll be good

May i ask, did you use a CPL when taking this shot? or did you get that awsome contrast in the from the conversion? Or both?

Cracking Pete - Lovely leading line. Although it may take you out of the shot a little? Good luck on PP - You ahvea feature?

I do use a CPL Woodsy, I think it's an absolute must for shots I look to convert to mono. I always say it allows me to shoot outside the golden hours and still get decent images. I also make a point of shooting perpendicular to the sun to really get the most out of the CPL. I can mess with the levels in the BW adjustment layer in CS3 if I want to make the sky a little blacker.

You're probably right about the fence Chewy, I was looking at getting it to lead into the tree not away :bonk: This was the other version but I wasn't very happy with it. I'm in the PP showcase I think, a "send in your photos" type thing, think I have 3 shots in.
