Just one from a shoot i did last weekend..

not normal for me to do the mono conversions

any advice on how to improve would be great as my mate likes monos..

I like this one a lot Dave ... ... a great contrasty shot working very well in mono imhgo ...


A couple of wee niggles from me though ...

Blown highlights on the right temple as you view ...

Virtually no highlights in the eyes and I miss them ...

And the zipper toggle ... either all of it or none of it please ...

cheers for the feedback ven i will add the cathlights .. sort out the zipper.... and have a play with the blown bit

Either way, it's nice shot, i like these types of shots with such a bright background...

MD like this a lot, its got a good tonal range and I think mono suits your mate.

One small point - on my monitor the rims of the irises look over sharpened (the colour contrast seems more intense than most people I know??) This may be due to the resizing for the web:shrug:

Overall though well done
