Good attempts Chris Looks like you had a great time and obviously not dissapointed with subjects to practice on lovely capture of the Robin. The problem of the Woodpecker and the Nuthatch seem to be down to your shutter speeds. The woodpecker was 1/20 and the Nutty was 1/180 this has just picked up some slight camera movement. The general rule of thumb is to keep your shutter speed the same or greater than the focal length of your lens, but if you are forced to use a slower shutter and as long as you are aware of it when taking the picture, then you can make sure you have the camera supported firmly by whatever means possible.
