My first attempt at shooting planes/panning. I must admit, I struggled to achieve pictures I was happy with. Settings for planes in flight didn't quite work for those on the ground. The colour of the plane also seemed to make a difference. Found with some such as tornados and Harrier that the heat cause a lot of haze.....not to mention the heat from the weather. Any how a sample of my shots.

Any advice on how to improve my attempts in the future will be greatly recieved. i.e settings/filters etc., etc

Nice set there, all fairly well executed. Something doesn't quite look right with the Lanc though, not sure what - sorry I can't help on that!
