beautifuly sharp, with the 300? what setting on white balance/time of day?, maybe bullfinchs are a little pinker?, robin a little redder?, or it could be my cheep screen?, i suspect its my computer.

Yeah they were taken with the 300mm. The robin was taken yesterday in brilliant sunlight with the following :

iso: 250
f/9
1/500
WB: Daylight/Direct sunlight

The bullfinch was taken today in not so good light!

iso: 500
f/4
1/320
WB Cloudy

Heres another one from today just to compare the colours.

I like both of these images, both very colorful captures in a nice settings.

I have seen a Bullfinch in our garden, but only the once so i can't wait for him to come back so i can also capture one, maybe as good as this one!.

Best regards Paul

Thanks paul, they seem to like sunfllower seeds best, out of everything I put down for them thats all they ate!
