My first outing with the 30D, shooting it next to my 20D with the 50mm on the 20 and 85mm on the 30D, shooting at the same location as i was last month with the Amy Wadge pictures:
Lighting was a pain in the **** as usual, iso3200 for the natural light shots and iso1600 + flash for most of them, but at least i could bounce this time as they were further out from the stage thus under the domed bit of the roof Also had the problem of trying not to get in front of people as it is at a "dinner" club as such, where tables surround the stage:
9 and 13 for me. I feel that the mono shots actually work alot better - gives them a much more 'gritty' feel. You've captured the atmosphere well though
