Mute Swan, & Black Swan

Just a couple of Swan images, enjoying the lovely recent weather.

1. is a Black Swan from JCB Lakes at Rocester, apparently this is the female as the male has flown away leaving her on her own

2. is one from Croxall Lakes yesterday...I hoped for better there but my lens is too short. Saw Lapwing which I'd have loved to shoot, but 280mm isn't near enough. My 2x TC arrived this moring so I have 400mm to play with now yippeeee hehe.

Both good shots Dan, especially the black swan, good detail and colour on that. TBH, I think you have slightly overexposed the mute, some of the white looks blown to me, unless its my screen. Nice composition on both
