probably a very photographed and boring bird, but this was at a very local reserve and I was going ( having a spare couple of hours ) with the intention of testing settings on my camera... being a bit of a NOOB... lol.

Thought it actually turned out pretty well... I have done a wee spot of PP but nothing major.

I shot it in RAW then adjusted exposure slightly and used a little sharpen..thats all.

It is a tiny bit burnt out on the white, but am unable to resolve this anymore...

One of my better ones even if the subject isnt very impressive.

your comments as always are very welcomed.

The sun on the swans back draws my eyes away from the face. However, it's is good shot and one to be proud of.
 
Both very nice images of our most elegant of big birds.
 
Number two is beautiful. First one I don't like sorry

The white of the wings does take the focus away from the face in the first pic, but thats a really picky comment. Both pics are good, in my opinion.
