im over the moon with them, ony done macro once before, although they are a little noisey but never mind!!

taken with 50d 24-105L and 31mm extension tube.

love this one!!

#2 and #3 superb love the expression on 3 and the angle with the blue sky top drawer.
Not sure about the wasps I can't work out what's going on and the fly lovely colour and sharp but not keen on the view

great set.
my only comment on No 1 is that you cannot see a full insect/animal. there's no main subject, more 2 halfs of the main subjects.

would a free noise-ware program help with the noise ?

i've never done macro. or noise ware lol.

Great set Westley like all of them especially the first one where their tucking into the rotten fruit Although I think number 3 is gonna give me nightmares tonight

Nice set really like Number 3 the expression is great getting to there eye level seems to be the key.

3 is ace and I think the noise actually adds to it.

No real focal point in the fist one and a its a bit blurred in the lower half

2nd one is well composed and well lit

3rd is a bit to big of a crop and you've lost all the detail

Last one again is well lit , sharp and detailed

Try using a diffused flash so you can get the ISO down to 200, this will help noise.

bought a flash the other week so i might try using that next time.

number 3 is my fav, anyone feel free to edit the noise out as i havent got noise reducing software and it would be much appreciated..
