nice set Alby as per. Yes I agree, great subject matter, very interesting to watch and quite co-operative. Struggling to get any so far this year, it's carp in Blackpool, its always windy:bang:
Off to Wales for a week in a mo so fingers crossed I might get something, if this rain bogs off :D

Even as far as having the enlarged back legs Chris. Thanks for looking ;)

No1 has a small white string like bit on it's back.
No2 has a stringy bit in the background.
No3 That Bee has dandruff, wash it first next time.
No4 Not too bad. Although, the tail is OOF. Have you ever tried stacking?

Go and try again Alby :)

Fantastic shots as usual Alby. Not jealous at all.

Dave you know how hard this macro malarkey is and I now feel like I should give up, sell all my gear and take up knitting instead like youself ;)
fantastic detail Alby :D
Thanks Ruth ;)

Great stuff as usual Alby.

Hoverflies are a favourite of mine as well. All Hoverflies imitate bees and wasps to fool predators into thinking they can sting, when they are actually harmless. The larvae of some species eat aphids, so they are a great pest control.
