nothing too exciting i know, but took these whislt at river getting some snowy shots.

4 I thought it was very kind of the birds to stand facing in opposite directions from front to back lol

Nice colours on the mallard's head there Paul. Maybe could've done with more room left in front of him though, the crop is a bit tight really I think.

Not bad at all for first go.

If you get a bit lower on the birds, your shots will improve dramatically.

A good effort, as already mentioned a lower viewpoint and not such a tight crop would be better.

thanks guys, really interesting tip to get lower so will try that, if didnt today as i would have got covered in snow and soaked lol

Like 4, yeah funny how the oof one's were almost symmetrical...... as above, lower down

Good detail my friend, as above, change your position and you can expect stronger compositions and more interesting angles.
