Following on from Mark's (Big Yin's) thread of his year in film, this is mine.
I realised today whilst buying the Christmas tree that it was almost exactly 12 months since I had my first film camera donated to me, a Nikon f301, so I thought I would post a few pics from my first year and my first thousand film cameras . I think I'm settled on the final 3 now : Ross Ensign 16-20, Nikon F3 and Voigtlander Bessa R3a, although I have Yashica on the way
Nikon F301. I really enjoyed using this camera, it made the most fab noise when you took a picture.
Nikon F90. Not my favourite camera, bit too plasticky looking.
Voigtlander VF101. Really loved this little camera, sharp lens and really well built.
Olympus OM-10. Nice compact little camera and some great lenses but I was a little disappointed with the quality of the images, this could however have been my fault.
Nikon F3. What can I say, built like a tank and put a 50mm f1.8 on the front and it takes great pictures in almost any circumstances. I will be keeping this one till it or I fall to bits, it will probably be me first.
