my first kingfisher!!

went for a stroll on thursday with shepherd550, turned out to be the best day ever, saw loads and topped the day off nice with this, not the best of photos as it was sooooo dark under the trees where we were but chuffed to bits none the less!! saw it again friday too but a little more distant

Great pics under the circumstances. The lighting was terrible but just seeing a kingfisher up close diving for it's supper and not bothered one bit by us was amazing.
Can't wait for the weather to get better, can some one ask Santa plz
