My first of the the year

First trip out with the macro gear. A bit rusty but still got these:

I really like both of them! However I feel that the spider is rather lost against the grainy leaf. Look sharp to me though!

Couple of nice shots Rhod, the crab spider looks tiny. You don't seem to have lost your touch.

I can also see that the spider is very small indeed, so you have done really well to get such detail.

The Crab spider was about 4-5mm across the legs, I think the graininess on the leaf is pollen. Looked like a spiderling, would that be right for this time of year
