a very good friend has just called and shown me how to post on here .

taken last week at chester zoo . as soon as i find time i`ll pst some more . please let me know what you think .

I'd say it is good and nearly very good!

Nearly because the focus seems to be on the fur between his eyes and not the eye itself. You have some seriously shallow depth of field there which has blurred the background but made the focus super critical.

resizing has made it softer so you need to sharpen it. It works as it is but I think I'd prefer to see the top of his head.

Excellent start!

and advice taken , must admit i went for a sharper all over image , when going for the eyes would be better , i think that would give an all over sharper image.

Hiya Santana- Lovely image .. Cracking shot, Got to Echo the others.. Its in the eyes.. Bring them out a little more and you've cracked it IMHO..(y)
