ok so not a great acheivment as birds go but i enjoyed getting these shots.

Not a lot wrong with them to my eyes. I think perhaps numbers 2,3 & 4 could do with a little more contrast. Number 1 is an elegant pose.
 
Catching any bird is an achievement to me :) especially if they have the detail and colour you've caught here.

I agree though a touch of contrast may help in 2 & 3
 
A fine set of Robins Lee, #1 is lovely (y) That Siggy is working well ;)
 
excellent set of robin pics.....not seen one in our garden for a couple of months now, all the neighbours have cats........
 
well thank you all for your kind words.
best shots of birds i have done. Now i was lucky with just under 300mm, there are speices that are less friendly.
 
Very good set for a first try at Robins. No.1 is a tad dark and No.3 a tad bright IMHO but nothing a PP tweak wouldn't cure.
